Dear Prospectors,
I was raised in Tempe, Arizona, where a love for education was instilled in me at a very young age. My mother was a reading specialist and my father was a professor at Arizona State University, so learning and teaching were always part of my world.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Education from ASU and spent 14 years teaching science in the Valley. During that time, I found myself drawn to leadership roles—serving as a curriculum coach, school improvement lead, and IB coordinator. These opportunities inspired me to pursue my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
This is my third year at Apache Junction High School and my eighth year as a high school principal. I’m passionate about building a school culture where students feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow. I believe in leading with collaboration, focusing on continuous improvement, and always keeping students at the center of every decision.
I truly love being part of the Apache Junction community and feel honored to serve our students, families, and staff.
