Calling all AJHS Football Fans!

This year marks the momentous 50th anniversary of the Apache Junction High School 1975 State Championship Football Team, and we are planning two huge celebrations to honor their unforgettable season!

AJHS will first honor the 1975 team during the AJHS Homecoming game on Thursday, October 24. Team members and their families will be treated to a pre-game meal, receive free admission, and be recognized on the field at halftime in front of the hometown crowd.

In addition, the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) will honor the 1975 Prospectors during the 3A State Championship game on Friday, November 29, 2025. The championship site and game time will be announced soon, but plans are already in place to recognize the team at halftime before a statewide audience.

We are urgently seeking contact information for any players or coaches (including Coach Jack Davis, who led the team) from the 1975 team and their families. If you have any contact details, please email us at communications@goaj.org.

Here you will upload your 25-26 AIA Physical Form and sign all of the compliance paperwork. PLEASE NOTE: All athletes will be required to complete the following courses for the winter season:
