Introduction/Directions: This Web Quest was developed to help you expand ideas for goal setting. Goal setting helps adults manage stress so they are better models for children. Goal setting is vital to working towards the target or vision of the future. After you complete this project, you will present what you have developed on goals to the class during finals week.
Task: Complete the prewriting on goals by answering the
questions***. Make a computer presentation from the information you write about
your goals. Use this information to complete a computer presentation. Prewriting
Process: You will receive LAB points for working on the goals project each day in class. These steps will help you complete your project. The lab points will be part of the final points.

Step 1 - Go to prewriting paper that is on this webpage
below and answer the questions. You may print out this paper. Turn in this
paper for credit.
Find pictures, and or graphics. Create a cover slide for the introduction of your project.

Step 2 - Complete this Web Quest on the first goal on Education/Career.
Choose a photo or a graphic to go on the page. Insert photos of children when
appropriate for your goal.
Step 3 - Create a slide to address the second goal on Family. Choose a photo or a graphic to go on the page. Children should be part of this slide.
Step 4 – Continue and complete the Web Quest for Friends, Hobbies and Health goals. Choose photos/graphics that help to present your idea of goals. How will you incorporate children in your goals for the future?

Step 5 - Create a slide of for the conclusion. Insert a photo/graphic and choose a quote that would help to share your values and goals to summarize your goal project.

Evaluation: Your grade will be based on the rubric grade on the project, presentation and production during class time for each day. Here is the form for the rubric grade. The class will fill out 2 of these forms a day on another student’s presentation.
Conclusion: Through this project, I hope you will think about the values you have that reflect the goals for your life. Goal setting will help you to make decisions faster and with more satisfaction.
